12 Continuously Operating Reference Stations of SatRef
There are a total of 12 CORS in Hong Kong. 9 stations are built at hilltop, on top of a 5m high pillar and fenced to avoid disturbance. 3 other reference stations are installed on roof-top. The separation of the reference stations is about 10 to 15 km. This is to provide at least 2 stations within 10km for users in most of the area in Hong Kong.

- Concrete platform for protecting the station from the bush fire and lost of supporting soil

Hilltop SatRef Stations
There are 9 Hilltop stations and they are HKKT (Kam Tin), HKLT (Lam Tei), HKSL (Siu Lang Shui), HKST (Shatin), HKMW (Mui Wo), HKNP (Ngong Ping), HKSS (Shap Sze Heung), HKWS (Wong Shek) & HKOH (Obelisk Hill).
