Privacy Policy


    The protection of privacy in relation to personal data is the concern of every member of staff in the Lands Department. We respect personal data and are committed to complying with the provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
  1. The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region ("the Government") will record visits to this web page (the Website) without collecting any personal identifiable information from users. Such general statistics are collected to compile statistical reports and diagnose problems with, or concerning, computer systems to help improve the Website.
  2. To provide location-based service, the website would get user's location (i.e. the location of the lamppost which the user has interacted with). However, user’s locations would not be recorded.
  3. If you use the “GeoInfo Map” function, please refer to the corresponding privacy policy of “GeoInfo Map” or “MyMapHK Mobile Map App”.
  4. The website supports sharing of information via third party service providers (“Your Map” and "Share Location" function). If you use the “Your Map” or "Share Location" function, the Website will transmit user’s location to third party data servers for processing. No personal identifiable information from users would be collected or shared by this Website. Please refer to the privacy policy of corresponding service providers.

    地政總署對於保障個人資料私隱十分關注。我們尊重個人資料，並致力遵守《個人資料（私隱）條例》的條文。
  1. 香港特別行政區政府（下稱「政府」）會記錄用戶使用本網頁（下稱「本網站」）的次數，但並不會收集任何足以辨識用戶身份的資料。所收集的瀏覽次數記錄只會用於製作統計報告及調查電腦系統問題，以助地政總署改善本網站。
  2. 為了提供定位服務，本網站會獲取用戶位置(即是用戶接觸的燈柱的位置)，但用戶的位置不會被記錄。
  3. 若你使用「地理資訊地圖」功能，請參閱「地理資訊地圖」或「MyMapHK 流動地圖應用程式」的私隱政策。
