The Kau Sai Chau (HKKS) Reference Station of the Hong Kong Satellite Positioning Reference Station Network (SatRef) have been under maintenance since 27 May 2024 until further notice. The affected services including GNSS Raw Data (RINEX format) Data Download Service and GNSS Real Time Raw Data Stream (RTCM format) relevant to HKKS Reference Station may be interrupted.
The SatRef plays an important role in maintaining an accurate and consistent spatial reference framework for Hong Kong, and connect to the global coordinate reference system. It is fundamental for all spatial data and positioning applications and information exchange, and support the development of the Common Spatial Data Infrastructure (CSDI) and the Smart City.
RTK users can obtain the current status of SatRef system via two new webpages. SatRef Reference Check Status webpage provided the residual value of each SatRef station and the Network RTK Integrity Monitoring (IM) webpage provided the offset value of RTK survey at IM station.
